The Mayor’s Ball is about bringing together leaders who care to invest in our community and see it become a flourishing place to live and thrive for all. One night a year, this exclusive premier gala unites multiple organizations and harnesses the power of generosity for a better community.

How can I attend The Mayor’s Ball?

Seats for The Mayor’s Ball are only sold by sponsorship levels starting at $1,500 for a half table of 4 seats. Individual tickets are not available, nor will tables/seats be sold at the door. Please see Sponsorship Opportunities for more information on pricing.

Is there a dress code for The Mayor’s Ball?

The Mayor’s Ball is a formal, black tie event. Men are meant to wear tuxedos, suits, or dinner jackets with ties. Women are meant to wear floor length gowns. Please no denim, shorts, t-shirts, sandals or athletic shoes.

Can children attend The Mayor’s Ball?

The Mayor’s Ball is an adult event. Please no children. Enjoy your date night!

Is this only for the local community?

The Mayor’s Ball is a black tie event to benefit CityServe, a local nonprofit. Sponsors do not have to be from Bakersfield. However, all funds raised will go to CityServe Kern County programs for impact in our local community.


CityServe is a collaborative network of churches and community leaders designed to create greater impact and offer hope.
